DIRECTIONS to Solterreno:

We are midway between Valencia and Alicante. So here are instructions of how to travel from those two airports. I offer a free pickup from the towns of Ondara and Denia.

From Alicante airport: 

From Alicante airport  You can get a direct bus (one every hour and takes 1h) from Alicante airport to Benidorm and from there there are lots of buses to Denia or Ondara. More info here. And for bus info and tickets ALSA

In Ondara as you get off the bus you will see some taxis. If no one is there ring the 24h taxi service, 965 766 899 or Ruben on 690 680 088 and get them to take you to Vall de Laguar (which is the area) and Benimaurell (which is the specific village) about 25 min trip, expect to pay about 25 euros.

From Denia you can also get a taxi which will take about 45min and will cost about 35 euros.

Solterreno is about 1km from the village of Benimaurell (La Vall de Laguar). so as you come into the village turn right and go for about 50m till the road forks in two, with the bar L'Hedrera on the left. Take the right folk which drops down steeply with a yellow house on the right. stay on this track for about 1km untill you see a sign for Solterreno. Turn right and the house is about 200m down the track.

From Valencia airport: 

From Valencia airport take a taxi (there is now also a metro) to the bus station in Valencia "estación de autobuses" and there buy a ticket to Ondara. Single in spanish is "solo ida" and return is "Ida y vuelta"

In Ondara as you get off the bus you will see some taxis. By car from Valencia: 

Allow 2h From Valencia airport, follow signs to Alicante, onto the coast motorway, the AP-7 to Alicante. Beware: there is a split in the motorway, keep on the AP-7 "alicante por la costa". It is a toll road, expect to pay about 8 euros, any credit card will do. Keep on that road for just over an hour till you get to junction 62 to Dénia and Javea, Look for signs to Ondara which is about 2km back towards Valencia. Don't go into Ondara but on the by-pass. Turm off to Orba. Pass thro' Bendoleig, go round Orba and on up to Fontilles and Vall de Laguar. which is made up of three villages, Campell, Fleix and finally your destination Benimaurell.

By car from Alicante:

Allow 2h From Alicante airport, follow signs to Valencia, don't go into Alicante. Benimaurell, a villege in the mountains near the coastal towns of Dénia and javea

Vall de laguar, is the name of the area which is made up of the three villages, campell, fleix and benimaurell.
